The marriage license for Lucien Fletcher and Frances Everett Fletcher show that the license was granted on October 28th, 1880, but that the ceremony was performed on September 29th, 1880. It is believed this is an error, and that the date of the ceremony must have been October 29th, 1880, with the minister writing in the wrong month on the certificate.
In large part because her husband had been disowned by his family, precious little is known about Frances Everett Fletcher; aside from the names of her parents (Thompson and Mary Everett), her own family history is not known, and her husband's family scarcely recognized her existence.
*Special thanks to Jack Coffee for finding additional information, including but not limited to, the place of burial for Frances Everett Fletcher, about whom so little is otherwise known.
