BEVERLY FRANCELLA DENBY 1929 - 2015
Beverly F. Denby passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 85. She was born on May 27, 1929 in St. Louis, MI, the second oldest daughter of Mahlon and Jennie (Swartz) Stahl. She graduated from St. Louis High School in 1947. She married Walter James Anderson (now deceased) on October 23, 1948 in La Porte, IN. They were the parents of three children. They divorced in early 1955. She married Kenneth Edward Denby on March 18, 1955 in Eaton Rapids, MI. They were the parents of two children. She was a stay at home Mom but later in life with the children all brown, she did house cleaning in the Mason area for several years to supplement their income. She loved to listen to country and western and bluegrass music, feeding the birds and taking care of her yard and her cat kitty poo.
She is survived by four children, seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two sisters, Greta Freeman of Port St. Joe, FL and Joy Pontseele of Merrill, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Mahlon and Jennie Stahl; brother, Mike Stahl; sisters, June Allan, Gloria Bow and Peggy Gloden; husband Kenneth E. Denby in 1998 and son Kenneth James Anderson in 2013.
No services were held per her wishes. Family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home in Mason on March 26, 2015 with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
