Henry E. ``Bake'' Bonanzinga of Alanby Drive, Meriden, died Monday at MidState Medical Center. He was 88.

He was a lifetime resident of Meriden. He owned and operated Bonanzinga's Bakery until his retirement. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica R. Zakrzewski Bonanzinga; two daughters, Sandra Wright and Marcia DeMonte, both of Meriden; five sons, Anthony, Paul, Larry, Bart and Henry A. Bonanzinga, all of Meriden; two sisters, Carmella Mattessini and Yolanda Guiliano, both of Meriden; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 8:15 a.m. Saturday from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, followed by a Mass at 9 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
