ELSIE I. CHOCKLEY. Graveside service for Elsie I. Chockley, 89, 2308 N. 3rd, will be 2 p.m. tomorrow at Wilson Cemetery, Wilson, the Rev. Thomas Walsh officiating. Mrs. Chockley died March 3, 1994, at St. Catherine Hospital. The daughter of Davis W. and Mary Ellen Josephine Hall Bush, she was born March 31, 1904, at Kaw City, Okla., and moved to Beaver County, Okla. as a child. She married William O. Chockley Dec. 5, 1923, at Beaver, Okla., and lived in the area until 1942, when they moved to Wilson. Mr. Chockley died Nov. 1, 1974. A Wilson resident for 36 years, she had lived in Hutchinson with her daughter for nine years before moving to Garden City in 1987. Mrs. Chockley attended the United Methodist Church in Wilson. A homemaker, she enjoyed crocheting and listening to music.

Survivors are two daughters, Ferol Wagner, Garden City, and Lila Fritschen, Hutchinson; a sister, Thelma Lee, South Coffeyville, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, those preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, two sisters and a half sister.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City. Memorials to Terrace Garden Care Center, in care of the funeral home.
