WILLIAM O. CHOCKLEY. TOPEKA--William O. Chockley, 73, Wilson, died Friday at the Veterans Administration hospital at Topeka. Mr. Chockley was born Dec. 6, 1900, at Iola. He was a former oil field worker and was sexton of the Wilson city cemetery from 1952-1971, when he retired. He had lived at Wilson 32 years. He was a World War I veteran.
Survivors are the widow, Elsie, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Ferol Siefers, Wilson and Mrs. Lila Fritschen, Hutchinson; a brother, Fred, Beaver, Okla.; and 4 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1:30 pm Sunday at the Stiles funeral chapel, Wilson, the Rev. Fred Houston officiating. The Wilson American Legion post will conduct a military service in Wilson city cemtery.
