Loved & cherished husband of 56 years to Nadine H. Blum (nee Moss) until her death did they part. Kind father of Peggy (John) Mayfield, Janice (Jeff) Strawn, Bonnie (Carl) Bartz, Robert (Chris) Blum, David L. Blum and the late Edmund P. Blum.
Son of the late Edmund J. & Lillie Blum. Edmund was raised in Lemay with five siblings, survived by one sister Mil Steitz, the late Florine (Sissy), Faye Drewer, Robert (Cookie), Beverly Sinclair. Dear sweet grandfather to Kelly, Lori, Jason, Jennifer, Michele, Kyle, Sydney, Alex, Ethan, Alaina and Mitchell. Great-Grandfather to Kylee, Caleb, Mila & Guinevere. Cherished Uncle of many.
He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army and worked for 39 years at Anheuser-Busch Brewery. He was a loving role model to his family.
