Lonnie R. Winebrenner, 70, of Wrights Lane, Bowling Green, died April 23, 1969, at Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted on Tuesday. He had been in failing health for several months.
Born in Mt. Savage, he was a son of the late William S. and Susan (Hutzel) Winebrenner. He was a retired Celanese Fibers Company employe and a member of the Woodmen of the World.
Lonnie was married 24 December 1918 in Cumberland
M E Church by pastor York.
Surviving are his wife, Cora V. (Swadley) Winebrenner; a son, Oliver Raymond Winebrenner, Bowling Green; six sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Rice, Mrs. Sarah Bowers, Mrs. Louise Witt and Mrs. Eleanora Winebrenner, Mt. Savage; Mrs. Susanna Trimble, Corriganville, Mrs. Viola Deal, Frostburg, and three brothers, Ralph Winebrenner, Mt. Savage; Clinton Winebrenner, Hyndman, and Wilbert Winebrenner, Baltimore.
The body is at the George Funeral Home where friends will be received to from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Wesleyan Church, Cresaptown by Rev. Jack R. Pease, pastor.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.
The body will be take to the church a half hour prior to the service.
