Know all men by these presents that I Hugh V Rachford, of Larue County and State of Kentucky being of sound Mind and disposing memory
As for what property the Lord has been pleased to bless me with, I give and bequeath in the following manner viz
I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Fanny Eliza Rachford, all my estate real and personal to be by her enjoyed so long as she remains my widow. It is my will and wish that she shall be my administrator trix, and that she shall not be held to security and to have all power to collect and settle, all my just debts, and use my property for the use of the family Except to sell the Land. Given under my hand and Seal this 6th day of September 1850

At a Court began and held for Larue County at the Court house in Hodgenville on Monday the 23rd day of September 1850, This Instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and testament of Hugh V. Rachford decd was produced in Court and fully proven as required by law by the oaths of Henry Beeler & William S. Martin, the two subscribing witnesses thereto and the same was established and was ordered to be recorded
And that I have truly recorded the same this 27 day of September 1850
