Alma Lee Farber HUTCHENS, 95, of Sayre, Oklahoma, died February 3, 1998.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 5, at 2 p.m. at Sayre Church of Christ with Kevin Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Erick Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Service in Sayre.
She was born June 3, 1902 in Cook County, and moved to Walters, Oklahoma as a teenager. She married Elmer FARBER on September 7, 1919. They lived near Walters before moving to Purnell, Oklahoma and later to Beckham County in 1929. In 1950, they moved to Erick, Oklahoma. He passed away in 1964.
She later married Loys M. HUTCHENS on May 6, 1967 in Sayre, and they lived in Erick. He died in 1976. In 1981, she moved to Sayre.
She was a member of Sayre Church of Christ, and had been a member of the Erick Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday school for several years.
She is survived by four daughters, Geraldine TYSON of Sayre, Ina Merle BRYAN of Perryton, Norma Jean McMAHON of Shamrock and Patricia Ann PAIR of Erick; two sons, Hershel Weldon FARBER of Pampa and J. A. FARBER of Cyril, Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
