Funeral of Mrs Adams
The funeral of Mrs Mary E Adams who died early Tuesday morning at her home on Mt Pleasant St was held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from St Michael's Catholic church. Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Rev James J Quinn, who also preached the funeral sermon. Burial was in St Michael's Cemetery. At the conclusion of the services at the church, Miss Mary Cronly(?) sang in excellence voice, 'Face to Face'. The funeral was largely attended, Mrs Adams being held in high esteem by the community.
