Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rita Teresko; a son, John L Brown Sr. of Freedom, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Ozzie L Day of Ocean Springs, Miss.; a brother, Lonnie B. Bethel of Lawn, Texas; four grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; and seven great-greatgrandchildren. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, Kentucky.
