He was retired from International Harvester and a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He attended The Valley Station Baptist Church, and loved to attend church on Sunday wherever he stayed. He also loved to be outdoors, hunting or fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years and his four children. He has four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
His service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the W.G Hardy Valley Funeral Home, with burial at Liberty Church Cemetery in Princeton, KY at 2 p.m. on Wednesday EST. His visitation will be from 2- 8 p.m. on Monday and after 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
