Zoe "Ann" Reed of Hersey, formerly of Evart and Reed City, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Altercare of Big Rapids. She was 83. Mrs. Reed was born May 1, 1931 in Traverse City to Orrie and Ethel (Rowell) Spence. She was a 1949 graduate of Evart High School. Ann married Forest Reed on May 16, 1949 in Big Rapids and he preceded her in death in 1998. She worked at Evart Products for 22 years, retiring in 1998. She was a long time Evart area resident moving to Reed City, then to Hersey. Mrs. Reed enjoyed camping, fishing, snowmobiling, bowling, playing cards, crocheting, and watching Tiger baseball. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Forest, and three brothers, Eldon, Bill, and Jimmie. Funeral services for Zoe "Ann" Reed are 1:30pm Saturday, March 14th at the Corey Funeral Home in Evart with Pastor Bill Peters officiating. Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, March 13th at the funeral home. Interment will be in Grant Township Cemetery, Mecosta County, Michigan.
