A merchant living at 1021 12th Avenue South, Nashville, Moore was 69 years old and single when he died at home of organic heart trouble on January 20, 1926. Burial was the next day in "Allen Cotton Family burial ground at 9 mile Granny White Pike," Nashville. No cemetery marker has been found for his grave.

Gravesite Details
Tombstone missing. A later owner dug up the stones in this cemetery and laid them flat to facilitate mowing. Several stones were removed completely and stacked in a nearby barn. Their present whereabouts are unknown.
