Allen Boyer Sheaffer, a lifelong resident, and farmer in Dallas County passed away at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Friday, April 16, at the age of 87 years, following a long illness.
He was one of the pioneer residents of the Panther Creek area.
Mr. Sheaffer is survived by five daughters, Mrs. J. Everett Miller, of Waterloo, Mrs. Byard Snyder, of Oklahoma, Mrs. Frank Scott and Mrs. Charles Lyons of California and Miss Mary Alice Sheaffer of Colorado. Also two sons, Laurence of Ames and Milford, of Adel.
