KENNEDY, Rev. Clarence David - age 92, of Flint, formerly of Harrington, ME, died Friday, March 6, 2015. Pastor Kennedy was born September 25, 1922 in Harrington, ME, the son of Horace and Harriet (Nichols) Kennedy. He graduated from Harrington High School as the Valedictorian at age 17.

Pastor Kennedy married Jewel Elizabeth on June 17, 1944 and she preceded him in death on March 26, 2001.

Pastor Kennedy was a graduate of Philadelphia School of the Bible and the Baptist Bible Seminary. He was an Ordained Minister of the Gospel and had been the pastor at the following churches; First Baptist Church, Castle Creek, NY, Berkshire Hills Baptist Church, Lee, MA, Grace Baptist Church, Flint, MI, Westwood Baptist Church, Flint, MI, Faith Baptist Church, Natick, MA, Bethel Baptist Fellowship, Great Barrington, MA and interim Pastor at First Baptist Church of Harrington, ME. He served on the board of directors for Northeast Regular Baptist Fellowship, Camp Northfield, and Fellowship of Baptist for Home Missions. He was a missionary for Baptist Church Planters and was a member of Michigan Regular Baptist Fellowship of Churches. Pastor Kennedy also served as a chaplain at Hurley Medical Center.

Surviving are: four children, C. David (Judy) Kennedy of NY, Harold "Hal" (Donna Lynn) Kennedy of NY, Carolyn Kennedy of Flint, Barbara J. (Rick) Trevithick of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren, Stephanie (Scott) Zentz, Stacey (Michael) Hammond, Lynnette (Brent) Maslin, Abby (Kevin) Lucia, Melinda (Matthew) Holmes, Ryan (Krista) Trevithick, Rachel (Andrew) Griffin; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Brayden, McKenna, Talon, AJ, Emma, Evan, Holden, Madison, Zachary, Wyatt, Weston, Waverly and Richard; sisters-in-law, Betty Ijames and Irene Kennedy.

He was also preceded in death by: two grandchildren, Sharon Kennedy and Richard K. Trevithick and two brothers, Clyde F. and Harold Kenneth Kennedy.
