Ruth Clore was born to Effie J. née Compton and John H. Clore. She was joined in marriage to George Melvin Davidson about 1918-9 in Missouri. Together their marital union produced two children: George Jr. and Ruth. Before and during World War I, she worked (along with her sister Virgie), in a Shoe Factory in Missouri (making soldier's Pershing and Liberty boots for the War effort). She was a loving daughter, sister, and mother. (bio by: Jay Lance)
