The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 22, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for former Lane County resident Ollie Edith King Harrington of California. She died May 14 of age-related causes at age 100.
She was born Sept. 5, 1905, in Nebraska to James and Sally King. She married Chester "Gene" Harrington in 1923, and he died in 1945. She retired in 1971 after 25 years of working for a railroad.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Marks of California; a son, John Marks of California; a sister, BerDella Owens of Cottage Grove; seven grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
