A victim of heart failure, Ole Bergner died at his home in LaGrande township Monday July 19.
Mr. Bergner was born in Sunne , Jamtland, Sweden, July 20, 1877. In 1893, he came to the United States. He made his home in LaGrande 19 years later.
He is survived by his wife (Anna Linder), whom he married in Garfield October 29, 1904, and his children, Cora ( Mrs. Roy Palmer), Sidney and Marvin. He had three grandchildren.
Other close relatives are his brother, Pete of LaGrande, Axel of Fergus Falls, John of Wheaton and Oscar of Alexandria, and sisters, Miss Anna Dahlstrom of Sweden, Mrs . H. Tilleskjor of Alexandria and Mrs. Martha Wilhelmson of Tacoma, Wash.
Services were read at the Engstrom Funeral home at 1:45 P.M. and at the Baptist church at 7 P.M. Wednesday July 21. The Reverand John C. Johnson, assisted by A. L. Fredrikson, officiated. Miss Ruth Johnson and Mrs. A.L. Fredrickson sang .
Pallbearers were Manly Larson, Robert Jelsing, Alex Linder, Hans Linder, Hillary Tilleskjor and John Lund.
The burial was made in White Garden cemetery.
