About this same time a John Brown married Temperance Medley in North Carolina and moved to Knox County, Indiana (Vincennes). Temp's father was a Rev. War Soldier and the DAR made a mistake by placing his plaque on Temperance Austin's grave stone in Lynnville, Indiana.
She is found in the Brown section along with son Dr. Austin's family.
