Elisha was born in S.C. in 1794. He migrated to Georgia where he met his wife Mary Jenkins. They married in 1819. they then moved to Alabama and ultimately to Mississippi. They lived in the Lauderdale County area of Miss. He died in 1870. He is my great, great grandfather. I am Joan Johnson of Philadelpha, MS∼Elisha died between 1860 and 1870. He is probably buried in Lauderdale County, MS somewhere, since that had been his residence since the mid 1840's.
