Mr. Hines was a native of Washington County but had lived in Baldwin County for a number of years. He was a retired employee of Central State Hospital and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
He is survived by three daughters, Bobbie Jean Parham and Cheryl Gramling of Milledgeville, Margie Daniels of Fort White, Florida; and a son, Larry Hines of Gordon.
Other survivors include three sisters, Hattie Doolittle of Toomsboro, Annie P. Hartley of Milledgeville and Mary Helen Bentures of Albany; two brothers, Bill Hines of San Antonio, Texas, and John Hines of Milledgeville; 14 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
