Donald Charles Guaetta, 71, Lehigh Acres, Fla., formerly of New Florence, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, in Florida. He was born in Robinson, Indiana County, on June 30, 1943. He was the son of the late Domenick and Erma (McElwee) Guaetta; and loving husband of 49 years to the late Deanna (Leary) Guaetta. He is also survived by sister, Elaine Bennett; niece, Sheri Lynch (Dr. Richard Lynch Jr.); two great-nieces and one great-nephew, Morgan, Gracie and Richie III; aunts, uncle and numerous cousins. Don graduated in the class of 1961 from United High School in Armagh. He was employed at Penelec for 35 years and lived in New Florence before retiring to Lehigh Acres, Fla. Don attended New Life Assembly of God in Lehigh Acres, Fla. For much of his life, Don was an avid golfer. He enjoyed spending time by his pool and travelling in his retirement. He loved learning new things on his computers and sharing them with others. He was known for lending a helping hand to many people with their computer problems. He loved people and was loved by everyone who knew him. Don lived his live to the fullest, never missing the chance to laugh with his many friends. Anyone who knew Don can tell you he was MAHVELOUS! There will be no viewing, which is the wishes of the deceased. Interment will be at the immediate family's request at Bethel Cemetery.
