"Robert C. McGrath was born in Holt County, MO, November 11, 1871, and died at the home of his brother, Edward McGrath, in Lincoln, Nebraska, November 14, 1918, age 47 years.
He is survived by his wife, who was prior to her marriage, Nettie Bawning (Banning), of Mound City; and three children, Edith, Frank, and William; also his mother, Mrs. Robt. Walters of Oklahoma; and a sister, Mrs. John Whipple, of Fortescue.
The body was brought to Mound City, where funeral services were held on the 18th."
