Mervin A. Bloser, RD3, Newville, a retired carpenter, died yesterday morning in the Carlisle Hospital. He was 82 years old.

He attended the St. James Lutheran Church, Bloserville.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minerva Billman Bloser: two sisters, Mrs. Harry Keck, RD3, Carlisle, and Mrs. Samuel Barrick, Bloserville, and a brother, John Bloser, Bloserville.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Reuben A. Shoop Funeral Home, Newville. Rev. Snyder Alleman, Spring Grove, and Rev. Robert Miller, Union Deposit, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter's Brick Church Cemetery, Upper Frankford Township. There will be no viewing. Flowers are to be omitted.
