Carol L. Sipes, 64, of Savannah, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 1, 2015.

She was a life-long resident of Savannah and spent her career with LaVerna Village Nursing Home as their director of social services.

Ms. Sipes was preceded in death by: her parents, Homer and Florence Sipes; sisters, Becky, Betty JoAnn, and Mary; brothers, Jack, Johnny and Ralph.

Carol is survived by: brothers, Roy, Dean, David and Gilbert; sisters, Nancy and Christy; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews, totaling 150.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel.

Interment: Graves Cemetery, Guilford, Mo.

The family suggests memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
