Lugoff - A memorial service for Raymond Lee Hutto, 79, will be held on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. C Paul Stephens will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852. Mr. Hutto passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015. Born in Orangeburg County, he was the son of the late John Alfred and Maggie Lou Phillips Hutto. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Hutto retired as a truck driver from RC Motor Lines of Columbia, S.C. and from Holland Hitch of Denmark, S.C. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Betty June Poston Hutto; son, Terry "Bubby" Hutto (Diane) of Conway; daughters, Jerrie "Missie" H. Hughes (Randy) of Lugoff, and Connie "Poo" H. Edwards (David) of Lugoff; sisters, Melba Chavis of Columbia, Betty Gladden (George) of Gilbert, Johnnie Robins of Gilbert, and Bobbie Kaiser of Gilbert; grandchildren, April Lynn Hutto Johnson (David) and Andrew Edwards; and several nieces and nephews. © The State, Columbia, SC, 2 Mar 2015
