Mrs. Reckner was born in Norfolk. She was employed at Pizza Chef at Loehmann's Plaza. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth J. Reckner; two sons, Daniel Hagen and Adam Hagen, both of Raleigh; and her parents, Edna Sawyer Elam and George Milton Elam of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Richard Baker and the Rev. H.J. Hizer. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
