A graveside service for James Chester Cheney, 75, of Sycamore, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky, the Rev. Dana B. Wagner officiating. Mr. Cheney died Friday, June 27, 2014, at his residence. He married Faith McWilliams, they divorced. He later married Shirley McClain, and they divorced. He then married Carol Stapley, and they divorced. Surviving are three sons, Austin (Leigh) of Charleston, Illinois; Lyle (Sandy) of Upper Sandusky; and Craig (Jill) of Mineral Point, Wisconsin; four daughters, Mrs. James (Cindy Lou) Weatherholtz of Upper Sandusky; Mrs. Tony (Sandra) Washington of South Euclid; Mrs. Kurt (Tara) Balliet, and Mrs. Ken (Angela) Pryor, both of Sycamore; two stepsons: Bob (Lisa) Pergram and Brad (Amanda) Baird, both of Carey; three brothers: Steve Cheney of Homosassa, Florida; Dennis Cheney of Deshler; and Roger Cheney of Ashland; and a sister, Judy Lianos of Upper Sandusky. Memorials may be made to a memorial fund in his name in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay Street, Carey
