Late Mrs. Barbara Knipfel
After a long illness, borne with Christina fortitude, Mrs. Barbara Knipfel was called to her rest Monday, April 24th.
Mrs. Knipfel was born in Austria some 44 years ago, and came to Canada with her parents when a girl of 15. The family took up land in the Castor district, where she remained for a number of years. She was married to Mr. O. B. Knipfel in 1918, and they came to Ponoka in 1923.
Besides her husband, deceased leaves two sons, Donald and Harold; mother, two sisters and one brother, to whom much sympathy is extended.
A devout Christian, the late Mrs. Kinpfel took a full share of church work, and her death is sincerely regretted by a wide circle of friends.
The funeral took place from the Baptist church on Wednesday--Ponoka Herald.
