Richard W. Kopitsch

Richard W. Kopitsch, 60, formerly of Birnamwood, died Monday at Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Kopitzke-Staus Funeral Home, Birnamwood. Teh Rev. Fred Krueger of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Birnamwood, will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery, Birnamwood. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Thursday and until services on Friday. Mr. Kopitsch was born Oct. 13, 1913, in Birnamwood, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kopitsch. He was married at Birnamwood to Belle Kimball, who survives. He was self-employed in the lumber industry. Survivors, besides his wife, include a son, Richard L., Sault Ste. Marie; a daughter, Mrs. John Leppala, Dewitt, Mich.; four sisters, Miss Romona Kopitsch, Mill, Mrs. Leona Hohn, Watertown, Minn., Mrs. Florence Safford, Wausau, Mrs. Mildred Pearce, Tampa, Fla. and six grandchildren.
