Mary Crawford Brown, 76, of 1320 Hamilton Blvd., Hagerstown, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 5, 1925, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Stanton C. and Mary Parks Crawford.
She was a 1947 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
She was a reference librarian at the Washington County Free Library, retiring in 1985 after 20 years.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Alan R. Brown; and two sons, Richard C. Brown of Diamond Bar, Calif. and David A. Brown of Palm Springs, Calif.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Scott.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Friday at noon at the funeral home.
