Son of William Henry King and Myrtle Mae Miller King.
Carl was born in Gates , PA on Aug,11,1925 he was joined together in marriage to Eleanor Louise Clark on Jan,9,1952 in Garrett Co, MD.Children of Carl and Eleanor were William Curtiss, Carl Laclair Jr,David Leigh, Brenda Joyce,Laurie Ann, & Stephen Douglas King.Dad was a good provider for his family and would give the shirt off his back to feed the less fortunate, he loved the Pittsburg Steelers and gardening. There was on incident while living in Pennsylvania Dad was digging a garden in our back yard he happened to hit a bee's nest, and the Bee's were after him,I never seen a man run so fast in my life, he got a few bite's but was ok. Dad was a joker, he was another Rodney Dangerfield. Dad remarried in 1982 after the death of his first wife Eleanor Louise Clark King she died on October 19,1978 after a long battle with cancer.Dads second wife was Juanita B Marotz.

A sharing and caring husband,father and granfather,who loved and lived life to the fullest.Pennsylvania born and a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers. His interest were gardening,sports,country and gospel music. Family to dad
was the most important. He was a man who would give the shirt off his back to clothe another, and put food on the table for the less fortunate, An honest trustworthy,and hardworking man,who was proud of his family for the accomplishments they made.God gave us this man, and what a trophy we owned,and now the Lord has called him home.(Written by daughter Brenda Joyce King Line)
