Robert Sanders age 81, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 26, at Oak Grove Church Cemetery with Rev. Roy Kittle officiating.
Mr. Sanders was a native of Bibb County and had made his home in Milledgeville. He worked for the Railroad with the maintenance and repair department for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother Hilda Norcile Sanders Lingold, his wife Myrtle Delle Sanders and a sister Barbara Huff.
Survivors include a daughter Kathy Myers of Jefferson, two brothers Lane Lingold and Carl Lingold, three sisters Dorothy Brown, Sharon Jefferies and Clara Kettle all of Milledgeville, four grandchildren, Kyle, Theodore, Matthew and Melody.
