Mrs. Lingold was a native of Wilkinson County but made her home in Milledgeville for many years. She was a retired licensed practical nurse with Central State Hospital. She was the widow of the late Royce Wesley Lingold and a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Lane Lingold, Carl B. Lingold and Robert L. Sanders, all of Milledgeville; four daughters, Dorothy L. Brown, Sharon L. Jeffers, Clara L. Kittle, and Barbara L. Hull, all of Milledgeville; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
