Clarence P. Barron, 61, of 1746 W. Broad St., Bethlehem, a native of Bucks County, died yesterday at his home.

Mr. Barron was a driver for the Oberly Taxi Co., Bethlehem. He formerly was employed as a shipper for 23 years for the Quaker State Bottling Co., Bethlehem.

He was a son of I. Louis Barron, of Springtown, and the late Amanda Fluck Barron.

He was a member of Wesley Methodist Church, Bethlehem.

Surviving in addition to his father are his widow, the former Evelyn M. Lobb; three daughters, Mary Jane, Kathryn and Deborah Lee, all at home; two sons, Robert L. and Richard A., also at home; three sisters, Mrs. Paul Mease, Springtown; Mrs. Robert Schlener, Emmaus, and Mrs. Ella Gross, Allentown; and six brothers, Howard and Maynard, both of Springtown; Stewart, Hellertown; Charles, Richlandtown; Elmer, Farmersville, and Calvin, Fort Worth, Tex.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hinkle Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
