Gaylord Lester, 54, a life long
resident of this vicinity died
Monday morning at the Hawarden
hospital following a brief ill
ness.
Funeral services were held nt
2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at
the Frazier Funeral Home with
Rev Jim Neuhnus officiating. Interment
was in Grace Hill cemetery.
Gaylord Lester was born September
26, 1896, a Ireton but
for many years lived in Hawarden.
He is survived by one aister,
Mrs. J. A. Storts of Grand Island,
Neb., and two half-brothers,
Jay Gifford of Beresford nnd Oscar
Gifford of Sioux City.
