Catherine A. Bostedo, 78, 14650 Winchester Road, Trafford, died on Wednesday, November 29, 1978, at her residence. She was born April 6, 1900, in Ardara, Donegal County, in Ireland, a daughter of the late John and Mary McNelis Boyle. She was a member of the St. Regis Church to Trafford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Bostedo on January 11, 1975. She is survived by the following children: Catherine Santavicca of Trafford, Mary Helen Fanty of Trafford, Edna Jean English of North Huntingdon, Thelma Johnson of Trafford, Sarah Zigarovich of Trafford, John Bostedo of Pleasant Hills, June Polishen of Plum, James Bostedo of Murrysville; and one stepdaughter, Elizabeth Rengers of North Bessemer; one brother, James Boyle of Pittsburgh; two sisters and three brothers in Ireland; also survived by 25 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the David A. Ritter Funeral Home, 220 Edgewood Avenue, Trafford. Services will be held on Saturday with a Mass of Christian Burial at the St. Regis Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery in N. Versailles.
