OBITUARY OF THEODORE CHRISTENSEN

CHESTER, UT - Theodore Woodruff CHRISTENSEN, 70, father of two Utah County residents, died Monday in the Sanpete Hospital. He was a resident of Chester.

Born April 13, 1903 in Mount Pleasant to Jens C. and Eva R. Seely CHRISTENSEN, he married Elsie BURACCO on April 02, 1936 in Mutual, Carbon County. The marriage was solemnized later in the Provo L.D.S. Temple.

He was a master mechanic in a coal mine. Mr. CHRISTENSEN had been YMMIA president, Sunday School president and the Chester Ward Scout safety commissioner.

Survivors include his widow and two sons, Ted D. "Sonny" CHRISTENSEN, Goshen, and Clair CHRISTENSEN, Chester; three daughters, Dawn "Midge" WARENSKI, Santaquin; Marian WESTBROOK, Kearns, and Diana WALL, Boise, Idaho; sixteen grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Alvin CHRISTENSEN and Inez ROSENLOF, both of Mount Pleasant; John CHRISTENSEN and LaVon GALL, both of Helper, and Myrtle ANDERSON, Las Vegas.

Funeral Services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Chester Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Ursenbach Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant, Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to Services at the Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery.
