OBITUARY OF ALVIN E. CHRISTENSEN

MOUNT PLEASANT, UT - Alvin E. CHRISTENSEN, 86, passed away February 01, 1995 at Central Valley Medical Center, Nephi.

Born September 11, 1908 in Mount Pleasant, Utah, a son of Jens and Rebecca Seely CHRISTENSEN. Married Louis JORGENSEN, February 14, 1940 in Nevada. They had been married for 54 years. Member of L.D.S. Church. Construction worker on the Hoover Dam and the large flood control ditch in Lakeside, California. He was a heavy equipment operator, owned and operated a sawmill in Seely and other local canyons east of Mount Pleasant. Boiler operator at Dugway Proving Grounds.

Survived by wife, Louise J. CHRISTENSEN; step-son, Gary Dee MOWER, California; daughter, Geraldine C. RIGBY, Mount Pleasant; twin sons, Jimmie A. CHRISTENSEN, Salt Lake City; Jackie B. CHRISTENSEN, Mount Pleasant; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, LaVon GULL, Helper, Utah; Myrtle ANDERSON, Nevada.

Graveside Services Monday, February 06, 1995 at 12:00 noon, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends call Ursenbach Funeral Home, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon prior to Services. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

If inclement weather, services will be held at Ursenbach Funeral Home.
