Anton "Tony" Joseph Burclaw, 94, Rosholt, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, surrounded by his loving family at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Rosholt. The Rev. Greg Michaud will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Friends and family may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Shuda Funeral Home, Stevens Point location. A prayer service and general rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

After he was honorably discharged from the Army, Tony married Zepherine "Sadie" Stankowski on July 5, 1947, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt. They resided in Wausau until 1951 before moving to the town of Alban where they owned and operated a dairy farm. It was at this time Tony began his career in construction. They then moved to their present address in the village of Rosholt in 1970. Tony and Sadie purchased the Rosholt Bakery in 1971 while Tony continued his work in construction. They sold their business in 1980 to their son, Bob, who operated it until 1985. Tony retired in 1984.

He is survived by his children, Chet (Sandy), Duane (Alice) and Brian of Rosholt, and Bob (Sherry), West Des Moines, Iowa, Mary Cline (Jerry Renard) of Green Bay, Sue Zajackowski of Plover, Mark Zajackowski of Milladore, Lori (Arlyn) Ostrowski of Bevent and Lynn (Mike) Pankratz of Little Suamico; his sisters, Sylvia (Ksioszk), Lydia (Hank) Laska, Wanda Goedde and Teckla (Dave) Cline; his brother, Emil (Lorraine) Burclaw; as well as 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
