Mrs. Christina Sophia Anderson died at her home in Carlos, Thursday, July 25, after a lingering illness due to old age. She was born in Vestsoken, Ostergotland, Sweden, June 26, 1832. She was married to A. G. Anderson in 1858 and they migrated to America in 1873 settling in Michigan. They came to Minnesota in 1876, and settled on their homestead in Carlos town, where they have lived since. The husband and a son, G. A. Anderson, survive to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and loving mother. The funeral took place Saturday from the Swedish Lutheran church, Ida, of which she was a member, Rev. A. Mattson officiating. The pall bearers were Theo. E. Erickson, F.L. Erickson, Carl Erickson, C.E. Thunberg, J.A. Melin, and C.J. Christopherson.
