Mrs. Lottie Gibbons Coffroth, widow of Frank Coffroth of Somerset, died Thursday, November 3, 1960, in Harrisburg, where she held a post in the Department of Instruction. She was a daughter of Dr. A. J. Gibbons, well known Carmichaels physician, and was born there. She graduated from Waynesburg College in 1909, and taught for several years, and became principal of Redstone school. Her husband died a number of years ago. Waynesburg College conferred an honorary degree on Mrs. Coffroth for her work in the field of education.
