Ray O. Shelton, 54, of Wyandotte, Michigan, formerly of Asheville, N.C. died December 28, 1978 in a Detroit, Michigan hospital following an apparent heart attack.
Survivors include his wife Mattie Thomas Shelton; a daughter, Wendy Shelton and four sons, Thomas, Ronald, David and Brian Shelton of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Leola Bradburn of Marshall, N.C. and Mrs. Catherine Sluder of Asheville, N.C., and a brother, Ted Shelton of Weaverville, N.C.
Services and burial were held Saturday in Michigan under direction of Krasun Funeral Home, River Rouge, Michigan.
