Graveside services for Eleanor Henry Heisler will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 at 3:00PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Burns Willis will officiate. Mrs. Heisler passed away on February 12, 2015 at Colquitt Regional. Born August 14, 1926 in El Paso, TX, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Thompson and Elsie Lurkins Henry. She was married to William S. Heisler, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Heisler graduated from Peabody College and Vanderbilt University. She came to Thomasville as a music teacher at Vashti. She taught school, music and worked in the office of Methodist District Superintendent for several years. Mrs. Heisler resided at Magnolia Manor South in Moultrie, GA for 17 years and Pruitt Health for 2 years. She is survived by nieces and nephews and other family members. Mrs. Heisler was preceded in death by brothers Tom and Hugh Henry and sister Betty Henry.
