Alma and J.W. Carlile were married August 22, 1942 at Post Oak, OK. They had lived at Wilson, OK., Sapulpa, OK., and Elkhart, KS., before moving to Lindsay, OK.
She was a housewife and mother and had worked at the Marietta pants factory for a few years while living at Wilson. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Lindsay.
Alma died at the age of 54, Nov. 20, 1980 in Chickasha, Ok.
Survivors include her husband J.W.; three sons, Lavoy Carlile, James Carlile and W.M. Carlile; one daughter, Yvetta Thacker; three grandchildren; one brother, Jimmie Dale Barnes; one sister, Almetta Allen; her father, Ira Barnes.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Funeral services were held Nov. 22, 1980, at the Assembly of God Church in Lindsay, Ok. Interment was at Simon Cemetery, Simon, Ok. (south of Wilson, OK) Brown-Boydston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
