Alice M. Fiscus of Rancho Bernardo died May 23, 2008. A San Diego area native, Mrs. Fiscus, nee Kinmore, was born in 1917 and raised in Chula Vista. Her parents are Elmer W. Kinmore and Ida Riebe Kinmore. She married David H. Fiscus and raised her family in San Marino, Ca. She and her family returned to San Diego in 1973 when her husband retired.

Wherever she lived, Mrs. Fiscus was active in hospital auxiliaries and served as president of three, including the Pomerado Hospital Auxiliary, where she set up the office when it first opened. In addition to her auxiliary work, Mrs. Fiscus enjoyed golf and bridge and being with friends and family. But when the Padres or Chargers were playing, she was either at the game or by the radio or television.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara of Rancho Bernardo; and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, David H. Fiscus and a daughter, Kathryn Ann Fiscus.
Siblings: Jeanette Kinmore and Charles Kinmore.
