Mrs. Thelma L. Kimmel, 61, of 201 Maple Street, Eldorado, died Saturday at Kettering Medical Center, Kettering, following a lingering illness.
She retired in 1974 after working 21 years at the Ward Benson(sic) plant of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., in New Castle, Ind.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E., two sons, Billie Kimmel of New Madison and Ray Kimmel of Eldorado; three sisters, Cleo Ball of Greentown, Ind., Bernetha Browning of Hagerstown, Ind., and Audry Cartwright of New Castle, Ind., seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Kimmel were Tuesday at the Bussard Funeral Home, Eldorado, with the Rev. Raymond A. Michel officiating. Burial was in Monroe Township Cemetery near Eldorado.
The family received friends Monday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
