Memorial services for Walta Maye Morgan are Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Harrell Memorial Chapel.
Visitation will be Monday Morning until Service Time at Harrell Funeral Home.
Morgan was born on Dec. 3, 1930 in Dekalb, Miss. She died on Feb. 7 at the age of 84.
She was the daughter of J. D. Conner and Ola Mae (Lang) Conner. She was united in marriage to Hiram W. Morgan.
She is survived by her sons, James Morgan of Weatherford, Texas, Howard Morgan of Dublin, Gary Morgan of Poolville, Texas, and Kem Morgan of Kingsland, Texas; 13 Grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren; and her sister, Jane Leonard of Ocean Springs, Miss. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monahans, Texas, where she taught Sunday School and worked with the 4-H kids.
