Julia (Gale) Briggs was born in 1888. She had two surviving sisters, Carrie (Gale) Cole and Alice Gale, and two surviving brothers, William Henry Gale and Harold Hamilton Gale. She married Clarence Briggs of North Collins, NY. From the time of her wedding, until her death, she lived in North Collins. Julia and Clarence had one child, Bernice Gale (Briggs) Babcock Sprague. Julia enjoyed cooking and sewing. She predeceased her husband, and died in 1949.
